If you collect music, you’re probably familiar with iTunes Tagging, and if you love radio you probably know all about HD radio, too.

Maybe you’ve been holding out on buying a high definition radio receiver, waiting for prices to drop and for more stations to start broadcasting. You don’t have to wait any longer, as HD radio receiver prices have come down and there are now tons of new radio stations broadcasting all the time.

With HD radio, you can hear FM stations in CD quality sound while AM stations sound as great as the old FM. Not only that, but thanks to digital technology, multicasting is possible. Stations are broadcasting more than one version of their station on multiple channels, and these HD2 stations offer even more radio entertainment.

HD radio is free, but you do need to pick up an HD radio receiver. If you’d like to tag all the great music you hear on HD radio, the receiver you need is the Polk i-Sonic ES2. The Polk i-Sonic ES2 has a built in iPod dock and features iTunes Tagging. Just tag the songs you hear, transfer the information from your iPod to your computer and you can quickly and easily decide what songs you’d like to buy.
